Representatives from community and local labor are appointed to board for state commission on national service.

Nomin Angarag, 毛里西奥莱昂, and Daniel McConnell will each serve a three-year term with the organization.
Nomin Angarag brings experience in the nonprofit sector from her time leading Friends of Global Market where she spearheaded a capital campaign raising $1.8M and built infrastructure to support the Market’s 45 BIPOC business owners through COVID. While a first-generation college student, she founded and managed Gracious Acts which recruited more than 500 volunteers and raised funds to build a school in Mongolia. 她目前在美国.S. 银行.
毛里西奥莱昂 is a senior researcher with the Metropolitan Council of the Twin Cities where he is developing climate change mitigation tools. He is a member of the Minneapolis Energy Vision Advisory Committee and the Environment and Energy in Transportation Research Council at the Center for Transportation Studies at the University of Minnesota. Leon brings a passion for climate justice and experience in using data to inform equitable decisions to his role on the board. 自2020年以来, Leon has been involved with ServeMinnesota’s Climate Action Committee which helped shape the 气候影响队.
Daniel McConnell fills the labor representative role on the ServeMinnesota board. As a business manager for the Minneapolis Building and Construction Trades Council, McConnell advocates on behalf of more than 14,000 skilled construction workers and focuses on diversity and inclusion through workforce development. He also served for six years as Political Director for International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 292. He is an Electrician by trade and is licensed by the State of Minnesota as a Master Electrician. He also chairs the Executive 董事会 of IBEW Local 292 and serves on the boards of the Minneapolis Workforce Council, 建立强大的社区, Minnesota State 董事会 of Investment’s Investment Advisory Council, and the Minneapolis Labor Temple Association and as president of the Minneapolis 董事会 of Business Agents.
